DMB Ticket Prices

Post by jdmbfan »

I'm sure everyone has their opinion, but I think ticket prices are too damn much. I've been in the Warehouse since Dec of 98 and have been to 18 shows. So I'm not just a "crash" fan. But for real.., 40 bucks for lawn???!!!!! 56+ for reserved???!!!! God help you if you take a friend and plan on having some adult beverages...Does anyone else want to bitch about this?

Motto to this. Don't drink.

Yeah ticket prices are pretty rediculous especially for those of us currently unemployed, and under 18.

It could be worse, you could go see CSNY for 200 bucks a pop. No joke, my dad went a year ago, and the tickets were so expensive. But you figure, their demographic is 40 or 50 year old hippies, with nothing better to spend their money on.

I could care less if you don't buy them, someone who likes the band just as much will if you don't.

I paid over $1000.00 for back to back Dave and Tim shows last March, I guess it all depends on how bad you want to go to the show and how much money you can save up to get the tickets. Thats pretty sad when you have to save up for ticket to a show.

1000.00 thats insane...but i agree it all has to do with the laws of economics... supply and demand, invisible hand, and that leads to high ticket prices. More people wnat to go, more people to pay higher prices... not to mention the 7$ for a watered down draft beer (thats why i smoke) but hey "some people do and some people dont"... oh well... i love dave...but 1000.00 dollars? i think id rather buy a new guitar and work on trying to be him (yes im living with my head in the clouds)
