Whats Your Jimi Thing?

Just wondering, what does the song Jimi Thing mean to you guys? What do you think/know dave was thinking about when he wrote it? Are there any interviews in which he discusses the song and its meaning in deapth? Any responses appreciated!

he talks about it in storytellers. not the video. you need the audio. someone asks. i believe its joint...but that's not where hte name comes from. the name is cause he thought the riff sounded hendrixesque...and somehow that got worked into the name..

so yea. its about weed as fatjack said. lol

i've heard its a tribute to jimi hendrix, thats why he called it "jimi thing" but i also think weed has a lot to do with it

I dont know, but from what I heard, dave didnt have a name for it and carter asked him to play it one day by saying, play that jimi thing, because it sounded similair to a hendrix song. and the weed reference seems to be the common understanding, but who knows

it doesnt mean any one thing, it means a lot of the ones mentioned earlier... he talks about it in storytellers- it started as some kind of jam and then they worked in some weird lyrics and they never really explained them, a joint is the main answer he gives though
