Does anyone feel that they play better guitar stoned?

I sure dont. I may think I do at the time, but recordings have disproven this theory.

I dont think being stoned makes you better at anything except for being lazy. That doesnt keep me from an occasional indulgence though.

thats funny, cuz i can't even record anything when i'm stoned....
i would smoke, then go in my room and put on the 4-20-02 DVD and watch #41 while i played along, then plug my guitar into my comp and hit record in CEP WITHOUT arming the track... I did it twice. A total of at least 40 mins down the drain

i play better when im stoned but not retarded becasue ive smoked so much... just a nice buzz

Yea I am the same way, just some before I go on stage, and I only do it when Im with a band, no reason for me to get stoned when im playing solo. Ive only played a few times that way, but my band says I sound so much better and I have alot more fun onstage as well. I think one of the side-effects is that alot of our songs ended up being 35 minutes long.

i think i play better when i'm drunk, but i should record myself to see if its true. but if it sounds better or not, it's sure as hell more fun

yeah i know what you mean... I was playin the same Bela-type riff to #41 for 10 straight minutes!

I havent gotten the chance to play guitar while being stoned yet... and I really want to.
I have played frisbee while being high though, and thats so much fun.

i don't think i play like shit when im high, cuz it feels so much easier and i'm still hitting the same notes, but who knows, ill have to record it next time, and maybe that will be tonight
