Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?
wow didn't read that when looking at these Rode mics for micking my acoustic http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/pr ... sku=271590
apparently the same deal is offered with these. I guess that gives me even more incentive to go through with the purchase.
Do you think these would be a wise choice for capturing an authentic acoustic sound? Oh and thanks for the info.

Those are awesome and will definitely give you great acoustic sound. If it were me, I would get an NT1A and then the m3 for mic'ing the acoustic. That seems to be the best deal. But you if want those NT5's and you need a good vocal mic, the m2 (condenser) is a great choice. The m1 is also great, its a dynamic i believe.
