it does a little bit, but not nearly as bad.. the biggest thing is how you mentioned that carter isnt really featured in the song like he used to be.. but its more of a cohesive sound IMO.. like the older albums.. stand up seemed like they each recorded their own parts without even hearing each other, then they slapped it together
