This song appears on the Scream 2 Soundtrack... One question: HOW?

On which sessions did they (the band) decide it's junk... It seems to me that to them it was so bad that they sold it to a piece-of-shit movie and renounce the right to release it as a "B-side" or something like that

and by-the-by, the recording is awesome

I believe it was from the BTCS sessions.

It was originally recorded during Crash. They wanted to give the Scream 2 sndtrk Halloween, but it was too damn good, so they rerecorded Help Myself w/ Tim on mandolin.
