Summer Tour 2009

DAVE MATTHEWS BAND SUMMER TOUR DATES

Dave Matthews Band will embark on an extensive North American tour in late May with dates planned through early October. Tour stops include several new venues with long awaited returns to many others as DMB tours in support of their yet-to-be titled next studio album, slated for release by RCA records on June 2nd. Plans are currently being finalized for the European tour from late June through early July with more dates to be announced next week.

The Warehouse ticketing request period will open at 6:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, February 19, 2009 and is scheduled to close on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Warehouse ticket limits vary by show and venue between 2 or 4 tickets, please check the dropdown menu on the Ticket Request page. Only 1 ticket may be requested for Premier Parking Passes and/or Gorge Hotel and Camping tickets. The Warehouse ticketing request period is not first-come, first serve, requests may be entered at any time during the open ticketing period. Confirmations will be issued by the evening prior to public on sales. Please refer to the listings of On Sale Dates for each venue on the Request Tickets/Tourdates page.

i'm not going to any shows, but im interested if anyone went to or is going to any of the shows that the avett bros are opening for and if you liked them? avett is to me as umphrey's is to speen and i'm just curious if anyone else enjoyed them.

Haven't gone in two years but I might go to SPAC for The Hold Steady, and possibly Syracuse because its 30 minutes from my house. It really all depends on how the album turns out though.

I'll go because it's tradition now, and it's always a great weekend. It's really more about the weekend of camping, tailgating and being with good friends now, with a couple DMB concerts in the middle, though, so it isn't dependent on the concert at all really.
