An Original Instrumental Song

I was screwing around on the guitar this friday and came up with a little instrumental tune. I decided to record it in a pretty raw form after a few practice trys, so it is a little sloppy. I am more intrested in if you like the idea of the tune, rather than the technicality of my playing. Anyhow, take a listen and tell me what you think.

Also, I realize I like to title songs by days, mabye if I make an album i'll call it "the week", Ha

I really liked it. The main riff is nice and funky although it feels like it's missing something. Try to switch it up and have it end on a lower/higher note maybe. I really liked the mood shift at about 1:00. Overall I think you have a winner.
If you gonna make this a stricly instrumental piece you should throw a lot of variation in there. You can substitute different chords and alter the main riff every other time you play it. The sky's the limit.
Maybe you should title it Monday morning as I think it would fit the mood better.

Thanks for the replys, I think I might take the advice and put a variation of the main riff when I make a revised version.
