I may be the happiest person in the world, i woke up at 10 this morning trying to keep hope alive that maybe if i got online early and went to ticketmaster, maybe i could still get tickets. I tried for about 25 mins. and it kept saying there was a problem with processing my order(i.e. there are no tickets left dumbass), but the i tried 1 more time and I got 'em. 2 upper level tickets for the show in Davidson, I'm totally stoked, anybody else going to this show? I'm so pumped!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even though I got tickets for two shows already thanks to some good friends and a little luck through Warehouse, I really feel for you people who had to put up with Ticketmaster yesterday.

I've gotten too used to an early morning routine and found myself awake and ready to go around 9:00am yesterday morning. I decided, just for fun, to see what kind of tickets I could pull out of Ticketmaster for Winston-Salem. I started hitting refresh around 10am like everyone else and it came up without a problem. All I can say is WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?

I have to give them a little bit of credit for the "ideas" the have for trying to keep the site from crashing when 50 million D&T fans mob their site first thing in the morning but they were POORLY implemented.

For instance, you have to type in a word to prevent automated systems from hogging ticket lines. It's a cheesy idea but I can appreciate the geture. However, half the people I have spoken with errored shortly after this step on several attempts including myself! Also they have the new line waiting gateway which, again, is good in concept but produced the same error messages. The absolute WORSE scenario that happened was when people actually got through all the hurddles and received tickets. Excitedly they all filled out the appropriate information and hit submit to find, you guessed it, ANOTHER error and the tickets GONE.

For all the money Ticket BASTARD makes off a concert ticket with their "I touched your ticket" fees you would think they could work out a descent system. Congrats to all you who actually made it through!

I made it through and still can't believe it...2 tickets to the Norfolk show (20 minutes from my house) on the floor 8 rows from the stage.
