Halloween - 2 questions

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Halloween - 2 questions

Post by davehead#34 »

My first question is does anyone know the Halloween lyrics from the new warehouse cd that came with the annual package? They seem to be different from the album version. He screams really loud so its hard to make out.

Also, the part "why do you run around...." the first chord is a Am which sounds right but the second chord is a Bm. When I play the Bm it just does not sounds right? Does anyone else know what I am talking about? Most likely I am wrong because the tabs on here are 100% correct. Anyway, it will be interesting to hear what you guys have to say. [/code]

yeah i play the Bm, it sounds right to me, try playing just the B power chord and only hitting the B string on occasion

Bm is correct. Maybe you were playing it wrong?

Despite the fact that the song was recorded on Before These Crowded Streets, I don't think it has any real definate lyrics. There are some lyrical phrases that he typically uses such as "Why do you run around..." but the song has always been very raw and emotional. For those same reasons I don't cover it much but, when I do, I just use the typical phrases as guidelines to make up the rest.

I do the same thing with Drive In, Drive Out. It presently has more solid lyrics since Live at Red Rocks and Crash but its fun to mix it up.

Be creative...
