I'm talking about like taht background thing in the jam to LIOG. what's the deal? i love it, but uhh...mistake? what? and at the end of rapunzel. what the hell is that? those type oft hings. is that the producer's thing or did dave do it? the band?

The jam in Lie In Our Graves is the band playing ping pong in between recording. That was all Steve Lillywhite's idea. I'm not sure about the others.

carter says "that was bad as shit!" or "that was badass shit!".. some think its stefan. ping pong is correct for liog...apparently lillywhite was the ping pong king.

rapunzel: If you listen to the short sound clip at the end of the song, you can notice Dave Matthews having a telephone conversation with Greg Howard, an old friend of the band who plays on Before These Crowded Streets. Howard performed his own "Charmed Life" during a 1993 performance with DMB.

I could've told you that.. you guys should all pick up a copy of Step Into The Light, the dmb book.. cause it tells you soo much stuff that you've probably never heard about.. it's a great read, i'm almost done..

Actualy, the reason why you hear swearing, it's Lillywhite playing against the band members. He is a great ping pong player, and is kicking their asses, lol. I am serious, that is true, it was Steve winning.

Indeed you're right.. if i quoted that, i was mistaken.. i didn't really read it.. But no, he doesn't have a convo with greg howard at the end of rapunzel.. different greg.. step into the light says 'Some say it was Greg Howard, some say it was Leroi's airconditioner repair man, also named Greg. is it just me, or at the end of halloween do i hear a girl speaking with the occasional "fuck" here and there? im pretty sure the song was about one of dave's relationship or somethin, right? is this supposed to be directed to her or a fight they had or something? just wonderin...
