the 7--2--5 part was that part i was having trouble with. it ois different struming on the upstroke and unlike anything i've done before. most songs you concentrate on the left hand fingering and that is the hard part. but for this song, i had to concentrate on the struming and it took me a while to get it down. but i think i have it now.

I don't play those with an upstroke, and I don't know if anyone else does this, but I believe, but not quite sure, that Dave has a slight pause and doesn't upstroke there. I know he does a lot of upstroking but I don't believe he does on this particular song. I would check the CP DVD but I'm too right now to get up and put it in to check, but if I turn out to be wrong then I'll let you down easy

But I still don't think that he upstrokes there.

i had to pick up my guitar and play this just to see how i do it... i just keep my hand in a regular stumming rhythm and i just naturally hit that 2xx2 with an upstroke- it fits right in with the strumming rhythm and i never even thought about it

Heh, i have no need to concentrate on either now.. unless i'm learning a new song.. all the dave songs i know are so simple for me to play now..

Alright, now that I have my guitar right next too me, I see what I was wrong. Yes, in the regluar strumming pattern for, I do hit the 2xx2 with a natural upstroke, sorry about the confusion
