hindsight it was a bit rude. but my first comment WAS positive.

But you also have to look at it this way. Positive comments don't help make your playing better. You have to be made aware of what you are doing wrong, or rather, not quite right, to know what you have to fix.

I wasn't trying to be an ass. I appologize. I'm sorry, Ironmike.

Pilot, don't sweat it.....I didn't take it too hard :D .......I asked for honest opinions both good and bad and I got it.....no biggie.

I must say that I disagree...while I understand the truth behind it, I disagree in the way that moral boosting is one of the best things you can do for a fellow musician.
If a coach for a team can only say, "the swing was lame", or "you can't tackle for anything", or whatever ( I know, bad examples, but it is late :lol: ), the coach doesn't belong in the job...I know...really bad analogy...

the point is, affirmation is vital to the growth of a musician just as much as critisism (constructive or otherwise)...just my thoughts :wink:
