Song Critiquing

Post by src »

I’m new here (on the boards anyway) and I decided to post some songs because my friends all know me as a guitarist but constantly beg me to sing. Since I’m not much on singing I thought I would let you guys judge before my friends. If they suck feel free to tell me I really won’t care since singing has never really intrigued me that much.

Some notes on the songs, the solos are all improvised so they may have some errors and on the first song I couldn't layer the solo on very well (.05 second off maybe) and the harmonics are all messed up and loud, the voodoo chile cover is all improv so there's bound to be plenty of mistakes (yeah i know the intro is weak), anyway clue me into which voice sounds the best and so on... any review is welcome.
thanks.

that voice kinda hit hard!! that was deeper than i expected LOL....voodoo chile -- the rhythm was good but other than that it was kinda empty ..... stairway -- very cool to see a harp in there, but it seems to get too busy in parts with everything going on, there's a nice solo in there too, by the way
