Love it Brian. Petty fits your vocals perfectly and the guitar sounds great. I like those strings a lot and they are super cheap. You should add the piano fills if you get the chance, they make that song.
I'm not crazy about the doubled vocals on some of the "You belong" parts, maybe try harmony instead?
