Does Dave always play high?

Yeah, I really think that dave has stopped doing that stuff religiously. I am sure he still drinks like the devil.

i never said that i thought he smoked, i was just getting the question out to see what everybody else thought, i personally think he may smoke while writing songs for the artistic element of pot but i doubt he performs high

actually now that i saw the post i did say that it seemed he smoked, i worded that wrong, what i meant was does anyone think he seems high, not that i thought he seemed high sometimes, sorry about that

Dave's not goofy. If you want to see an entertaining and goofy show, catch frontman Gordon Downie from the Tragicall Hip. Now HE can be goofy. I 'm a huge fan of both.

well I remember hearing a live show, one of the first times he played crash live and he said " So we just smoked a fatty... I'm gunna play you something that we've been working on...I hope I dont fuck it up" then He plays crash with some great add lib lyrics and was right on!! so I say who gives a shit I personally play way better buzzed than sober

and high or not, he's one of the best storytellers i've ever seen

I bet he doesn't toke up 5 min before the show...

but there's no way in hell that I believe he doesn't do it at all anymore..

I heard a radio interview from last year, I think. Dave told the dj that he "smoked a few trees..." before he got there.

haha...i've never been high before...i play the drums too...usually i do better on a set when i play guitar before hand..it's weird.

please!
anybody who has seen or heard storytellers cannot honestly say he goes on stage clean. he's definitely fucked up during storytellers...and even on the Live in Chicago webcast he's fucked up. You don't have to look for it, it's just so obvious.

storytellers probly.. i don't see anything wrong with chicago though. i love being goofy. its just having a good time on stage... i can't wait till i have a chance to get up there and act goofy with my friends..
