uhh...just wonderin...on my acoustic, would it be possible to get something engraved in the back of it? if not, is there anywhere i could get something engraved? where do i go to get it done? any help would rock..thanks

try going to a luthier instead of a dealer. they make guitars from scratch, so they will have more knowledge and the proper tools to engrave.

get an engraver and just do it.
i've got a buddy that etched some stuff on the back and up on the side,
it's not going to cause any structural problems cuz you are just scratching the finish, but just be careful cuz if you have no finish in areas it is easier to damage.

haha. i would personally scratch it out and fill oin the gap with inlay and varnish over it. that would be cool.

try the yellow pages for your area. it may actually be under luthier, or musical instruments, or maybe even wood working

Personally, I wouldn't want something engraved in the back of my guitar, I think the neck would be a cooler/safer place. But thats just me.
