Jack Johnson

Post by Easy E »

I'm officially over my John Mayer phase and its all thanks to one man, Jack Johnson. He's so damn smooth with everything he does. His songs are easy to play and fun. Check out the song posters or bubbletoes to see what im talking about. Let me get some feedback about this new kid on the block.

you guys should check out songs 'f-stop blues', 'inaudible melodies', 'mud football', but most of all- 'thicker than water acoustic jam' - i think the song posters started out from this jam

yeah, thats a great cd. and his stuff is super easy to play on the guitar because for the most part, he just plays barre chords with licks in between. go here for good jack johnson guitar tabs. the entire brushfire fairytales cd is a recommended download/purchase, plus some good non-released tracks are: cookie jar, and his rocky raccoon cover. his lyrics are fucking deep man, real deep. "but in the long run we have found, silent films are full of sound..."

I've seen them a few times, They are pretty good but I wouldn't call them amazing. Just my opinion though. They do a lot of cover stuff but his songs kinda all sound the same.
