dave matthews has better lyrics and singing. mayer definatlely is a better guitar player. theyre both different it all depends on what you like. dave matthews has more experience though. people are in love with more that half his songs

this couldn't be, because john mayer plays the electric guitar part for the song Angel on Everyday. He also plays it live sometimes with dave.

no. you're wrong. The guy that plays the guitar in that song on ED is Jon Meyers. He's one of Dave's old buddies that he used to go to yeshiva with.
