you waver out of key a little bit with the voice and it seems like you're holding back and that gives your voice kind of a nasally sound...just let er rip man

Your singer went out of key quite a bit, and needed to sing with more emotion. Also, the guitar part messed up a few times. Overall, needs some practice.

I'm not trying to be a jerk here so don't take this the wrong way. Try critiquing other people's stuff and they might critique yours.

i agree with horsmar15, no emotion, and i think your singer really needs to learn the song's pitch. seems like he doesnt know it at all. i'd say practice a lot more before your gig if ur doing this one. guitar isn't bad tho

Yeah, the vocals are pretty much what killed you...it's almost like his trying too hard to stay low. At about 2:15 you get a little off between the vocals and the instuments. Keep in mind, even strickly acoustic this is a very passionate song. You might have something here, but i'm with the other guy, practice like crazy.

I would suggest to lowering your singer's mic and let him sing louder. THe deeper voice is probably from a fear of coming across too loud, so when trying to sing quieter, often we go to lower in pitch. So when live or recording lower the mic input a tad and raise your instruments more, with percussion it will sound much better. Try EQing your instruments as well
