Typical Situation video?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Typical Situation video?

Post by underdog_19 »

Has anyone done a video for Typical Situation? I've searched a few times and haven't come up with anything. Also looked at Kanter's video but I'd like to see the strumming. I made up my own strumming, but I'd like to see what is closer to the real thing. Thanks very much.

Yes, I've looked at that many times. Printed it out a couple times also. But like I said in the first post, I'd like to see a video of the strumming. Thanks

Sorry, I should have been a little more specific in my original post. I can play the intro no problem it's the strumming in the chorus that is throwing me for a loop.

i had trouble with this the first time i tryed to play it also. is it that you can't coordinate your strumming and hammering? thats what i had trouble with. try just the strumming first without hammering on. when you get the strumming down well enough that you can do it without thinking, you can concentrate on the hammering. just practice and you'll do fine.

I can do the hammering OK. It's more i don't know how many and/or the rhythm to use between each chord change. Like 1st chord with the H/O, then one strum, two... That's what I'm having the problem with.
