So i've been watching Live @ Folsom and CP and noticed Dave stands on some kind of rubber pad or mat when he's at the mic. What the hell is that?

i believe its just a mat that is used because its more comfy than a hard stage...

anyone been noticing that they play on like persian rugs a lot? are they that hardcore that they get persian rugs under their feet? lol

The rugs give better acoustics from the stage.. many bands do this under their drums so they get the best possible sound..

that's the first thing my band is buying when we get some cash. Rugs are the shit.
