I know they are kind of novelty, but has anybody ever played with a talkbox before? Very Peter Framptonish.

very aerosmithish. it is cool i actually have used one. it isint something i would pay 99 bucks for though...unless i was going to play at a football game of our rival and go "*insert rivals name* sucks!!!"

It is against most state's health laws to let people try out talk boxx, for obvious reasons. You have to buy them, and I think they are kind of expensive. Peter Frampton is amazing, want a good example listen to Haitian Divorce by Steely Dan, that whole lead guitar line is Frampton on a talk box.

frampton is the shit...so it steely, i dont think its worth 100 bucks if your only gonna fuck around with it, but if you have a band then i bet it would be cool if you could make it fit in...hope any of thi shelps

Yep. Went to my local music shop, and there was a sign right in front of it that said and I qoute: Trying out a talk box is prohibited by state health laws. At least that's how it is up here in NH.
