On the Dave Gear site, it says Dave uses D'addarios, extra light gauge. Does Dave really play with .10 on his high e? That's so light! Doesn't the sound suffer when using lighter strings? Or was that just a picture and he uses a higher gauge? Anyone know? Thanks a ton.

I think he does use extra lights. It even says that on the D'addario website as well.

Wierd though... what about when he strums hard, when i have extra lights, i feel like i can pinch them all together they are so friggin loose.
