Dave's Missing Pickguard

Dave's Missing Pickguard

i've been watching the Piedmont Park show and i noticed that it looks like Dave removed his pickguard, or is it simply a clear one? i was just a little curious

On the Taylor 914c, they come standard without a pickguard.

914's do come without one. However, he does have clear ones on them.
