Man Dave and Friends fucking rocked. He needs to switch it up, playing with DMB is tired.

Ray Pazcowlski (sp?) fucking rocks and I always loved that drummer. Whats he doing these days?

His brother, Brian Blade, is one badass mofo. Plays mostly bop and such...truly a great musician.

i like Brady. Kinda reminds me of a Steve Jordan type of groove drummer. Definitely a good drummer to mix things up from Carter

I just saw the Storytellers from 2005 for the first time last night. Wow. What a bad song selection. Dreamgirl, Steady As We Go, American Baby, electronic filled Too Much, Louisana Bayou... I know it was 2005, but it was Storytellers, not an album release party.

DMBTabs.com, welcome to it. That's the finger you should play the note with. 1= Index, 2= middle, 3= ring, 4= pinky

came across this interview with steve lillywhite on paste. its about his new radio show, but he mentions dmb. he still sounds bitter about the lillywhite sessions leaking
But I think this is a good idea, and certainly the name of it: "The Lillywhite Sessions." I did this album with a band called Dave Matthews Band, well, it was an album that I never really got paid for and it got given away free on the Internet at the height of Napster, and I thought, “Well, if I don’t get anything for it, the least I can do is to own my own name.” So I’m going to call this "The Lillywhite Sessions" because people sort of know what that is anyway, even though it has nothing to do with Dave Matthews Band. I just thought, “Well, I should own my own thing.” If I ever do a book, I’m going to call it The Lillywhite Sessions. I would just like to get my name out there as something as well as a producer, to try to do something a bit different.
I don't think he sounded bitter. At least in the small clip that you posted there.

Has anyone heard either of the water/wine jams from this year? I haven't been able to listen to it yet, but was wondering if it still had that raw feel it had from the '95 Red Rocks album. I'm hoping it was kind of an impromptu thing.

Just listened to the first version of Shotgun from '06 for the first time in a long time and damn that was near perfect. They could have done so much better with this song.
