Okay... this has been bugging me for some time now! I was looking through the new Taylor website (excellent!) and I was looking at the 914CE, then I click over to the 912CE. Now I don't know about you guys, but I can't tell the difference! If there is someone out there that is smarter than me, not likely, but if there is, let me know what the difference is between them, besides there GA and GC status that they give them. I would really like to store more uncommon knowledge upstairs in my dusty attic that I call a brain. If you can help me, please do!
Thanks!

anything ending in 12 is going to be a smaller body guitar...more for fingerstyle players. it is thinner than the x14. the x14 is kind of a hybrid between a dread and the x12. it can take strumming while still be able to pronounce the notes for fingertyle. the dread is more for strumming and doesn't "overload" as easily with heavier strumming.

Probably because he strums it correctly , many people wonder why they get some buzzing when they strum hard , there is a difference in strumming hard and strumming correctly

I want that 714e so much...screw the c part of it. I want the whole guitar if I am paying that much...
peace
theres actually very minimal sound difference between a cutaway/non-cutaway guitar. it actually costs more to get the cutaway because of the extra labor work in the bending of the wood and stuff like that.

I just want the whole freakin sheet of wood. I don't care about how much more bending takes place, or how much more they have to work. If I pay more than $1000 for a guitar, I am gettin the whole thing. Its not like I solo way down there or anything...
I love you oh so well, like a kid loves candy and fresh snow.
