Check this out and see if it may be the cause...the saddle may have shifted to one side, allowing the E string to buzz. Loosen up the strings and see if shifting the saddle slightly helps.
Saddles are not fixed solid to the guitar...they "float" in the bridge slot and can be removed if all the strings are off.
Anyway, I had the exact same problem last week with my low E string and a shifted saddle turned out to be the cause.
Hope this helps.

Yes, it is the straight white plastic (usually...sometimes bone) thing at the bottom that the strings lay over.HCHaikuWarrior wrote:...is the saddle the white plastic thing at the bottom which holds the strings?....
See if the E string has slid off the end of the saddle slightly...if so then shift the sadel back.
Hope that helps.

I just bought a new guild and i started playing it and from frets 12-15 or so you would get a twangy buzz noise.. I restrung it and that didnt do anything so i brought it to get looked at. and i guess when it gets cold enough the trust rods or whatever there called bend inside the neck of the guitar so you got to get them tuned back into place..
