I am still learning guitar and while I recognize that Dave's stuff is hard, I have been doing music for years and can't stand beginner songs
It looks like the alternate tab for Crash is pretty easy, but I can't get the hang of the strumming pattern in the intro, I tried watching him on the FF dvd and he's too smooth! I get it mentally but my hand is retarded or something. It kills me that I can play it on the keys and not figure out how to strum this thing!!! Can anyone help me?

Id learn it the drop d way first off, its just too easy to tune to drop d to fuck around with the regular version. for a long time i thought that both the cd and the song were called crash, i thought crash into me was just a line in the song, didnt know it was actually the name of the song
I am working on it, I think part of my problem is that when I listen to it I keep getting sidetracked by Stefan. It makes the part sound slower than it actually is.
I had the same problem with my right hand try to work with a metronom I know it sounds boring and it is but it helped me a lot try also to get some funk book funk will get your right hand doing shit you never thought it was capable of.
