Me too. Even though it sounds like it's a live version, hopefully that means there's at least a chance it could appear on the new album. If I could pick one song from 06 to be on the new album it would be Shotgun. The little thing they were working on in the studio sounded nice. And Dave talking about different sections gives me some hope. But I'll reserve judgment till I hear the album.

I totally agree. So, REALISTISTICALLY, what does everyone think the chances of a Busted Stuff/Everyday or higher quality album is released? To be honest (it won't happen), with the amount of really good songs that they've abandoned in the past five years, they could put out a masterpiece.

I know it's impossible to judge how an album will sound from a minute and a half clip, but the way the whole band seemed to be in high spirits, and so involved, and Dave actually talking about different sections of songs, which could make a more complex, layered album, and Tim's presence - those things gave me some hope. From that little bit we saw, I think it has the potential to be a better album than ED and SU. That's all I'll hope for though - an album better than SU/ED. But again, I'll (try to, at least) reserve judgment until I actually hear the finished product.

All the excitement on here already makes me wary because this is exactly how we reacted every time the SU website was updated.

Still, I think that with Tim's presence, a producer that does not co-write anything, and the band's recognition that SU was not their strongest album creates the potential for something of Busted Stuff quality. I'm not expecting anything much higher than that, though.
