Requested seats for both nights in Hartford. Normally I do best available, but since I'm seeing the band at Rothbury, I'm gonna take my chances by requesting reserved. I'm assuming I'll get at least one night.

WAREHOUSE TICKETING REQUEST PERIOD EXTENDED TIL WEDNESDAY MARCH 19TH AT 12 NOON EDT

The Warehouse ticketing request period for all Dave Matthews Band summer tour dates has been extended and is now scheduled to close on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) EDT. The ticketing request period is not first come-first serve, the time at which you place your ticket request does not matter. The ticket limit per member/per show is 2 tickets with the exception of the stadium/ballpark shows this summer which have an increased limit of 4 ticket per member/per show. Members may request an unlimited number of shows in each Series.

Order confirmations will be posted to the Ticket Status page the day prior to the public on sale dates which are listed on the Request Tickets/Tourdates page of the Warehouse website under "Dave Matthews Band". If you request multiple shows, please note that you may be confirmed and charged for multiple shows. No changes may be made to requests once the ticketing request period closes and all ticketing sales are final.

If it's not "first come, first serve", how do they decide the type of seat you get? Is seniority still a factor, or is it basically just a crapshoot?

I can't decide if I want to go or not. Toyota Park sucked last year and I'd like to do Busch Stadium, but I don't know who would go with me.

I've read some message board theories that for multiple night stands, one night would be randomly assigned warehouse seating, and the other night would be based on seniority.

Personally, I've been a warehouse member for years, and have never gotten much more than decent seats. I think it's all random.

Well, I was talking to someone last year who is in it and he had 7th row seats the first night, then towards the back of the seating area the second night. He said that's how it usually goes.
