Satellite question

On the tab it reads to use fingers 1,2,4. I find it easier to use fingers1,3,4. How does everyone else play it?

i actually use 1,2, and 3...i used my pinky before but the stretch wasn't difficult for me to use my ring finger and it was more accurate so i said why not

my hand is way too small to use my 3, and even when i use the 4 i have to slide my hand over a little bit to reach the fret

You may think using 1 3 4 for it is easier now, but it'll only cause problems in my opinion..

I use 1,2,4 and i can hold all the notes at the same time, but I don't in satellite. I also use 1,2,4 for warehouse, and I hold all three notes at the begining of that.

You won't necessairly have any problems by using the 3rd instead of 2nd finger now. The chord shapes and finger positions on the site are given to show a way that is both similar to Dave's style of playing and allow other fingers to be in the right positions to mute strings, etc. May songs can be played with different fingerings, and won't sound any different from Dave's way. If the 1,3,4 works best for you, then go for it, but dont forget to practice streatching with 1,2,4 also so you can use all your fingers just as easily.

I tarted with 134 but after learnig warehou I had to play 124 so now I use 124
