Boss rc20 loop station

Post by flandaneran »

I bought the boss rc20 loop station. The thing is fricking awesome but it is really difficult to use IMO. If your doing an overdub and you make a mistake you’re done. Same thing if you record, if you make a mistake you have to delete the track and it’s a real pain. Sometimes while I’m playing a default tune will start playing and I hate that. I also don’t really get the tap/tempo button at all. Can some one who owns this thing give me some advice. Thanks

Did you buy the rc20 single stomp box or the rc 20XL? The XL is wildly better and much easier and flexible.

I have the RC20XL and I love it. It's great for gigs for laying down rhythm (drum) parts or rhythm guitar parts and playing over them. It adds a lot to the "guy and a guitar" set up. The dual pedal version is nice because there is an "undo" feature which deletes the very last loop recorded. It comes in handy. For the most part as far as timing and stuff, it just comes from practice.
