What an incredible, soulful version of Some Devil! Extreme closeups of dave, fret hand, right hand, the whole deal on that black baritone.

If there was any doubt about the tab, let me know and I'll look back at the video.

I'm pissed, though... they mentioned he was going to play a second song but TiVo stopped recording! Anyone see it?

i tivoed it, so i'll see what i get. it's gonna be a bitch scanning through the 3 hour show tho. but now you make me excited to see it. i almost wasn't going to tivo it, cause i thought it'd be the same "save me" and "so damn lucky" that i've recorded over and over. i'm glad he played "some devil".

me so happy!!

i plan to dl all the dave stuff i tivo'd the past few months into my imac as soon as i get my tvr and figure out how to use it. then i can burn a dvd of it or share it at sharingthegroove.com. unless, of course, somebody beats me to it.

yea it was solo stay or leave...phenominal. I woke up just in time

I missed some devil though and now I am pissed..and to top it off my tivo recorded good morning america or some crap like that. freakin technology

i'm never watching the today show again

this pissed me of... i went to bed at 3 last night but i had to get up at 6:30 to take my little sister to school which isn't that bad because i was off today so i could just go back to sleep. well i got home and the today show said dave was going to play so i said ok i'll stay up for that. that was at 7 so i kept watching and watching and thought i might have missed it somehow

but then he FINALLY played around 8 oclock and it rocked because i've never seen "Some devil" live 8) and then they said he'd play one more song! but atfer the commercial break it cuts in to the last couple of words of stay or leave and then they said they'd show the whole song later on!! so i stayed up to see it and i waited and waited and waited.... and then they FINALLY play the freakin' song at 10 oclock!!! and WHY DO THEY HAVE TO SHOW THE WEATHER 30 FREAKIN TIMES??

i guess i'm just not a morning person.

that as one of the best solo performance by dave ive seen in a while.....the only cooler one is the one he did in the record store back in 91 i believe, for the debut of remember two things.....that stay or leave was awsome!
