But can he hit them consistently every night?

He knows he has to be spot on for the recorded shows that will go onto cd/dvd. But for the performances, its just another show and likely not as much pressure to hit the high notes.

Yeah but they don't sound very good. Sure he hits them, but they sound muddy almost, like the track is clipping (which it may be seeing as its liv). But listen on Bartender at 7:18-7:20, and tell me if you don't think that sounds bad. Maybe he just had something caught in his throat though.

I guess it’s just a matter of opinion. I was real impressed with Radio City, particularly Dave’s voice. Any studio work is going to be more practiced and explored than a live take. Even when Dave doesn’t sing falsetto he is still singing in a real high range. This is true in any of his songs. People get all bent out of shape over crash when he screams ‘crash into me’ rather than hits falsetto. Try and sing the falsetto and then try and scream it the way he does. It’s a lot more difficult to pull off the scream.
