Look at Dave's hands while he is mast.....

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Look at Dave's hands while he is mast.....

Post by DmbFanJason »

mastering his guitar!!! Bla Dee!, haha...heh hem...anyway...this could be a little bit of a strange question, but I think we could all agree that Dave's hands look beautiful moving around gracefully on the guitar. I was wondering if anyone else noticed. But the question is...What song/songs does Dave's hands look the coolest on?

I was thinking definitely So Much To Say, and then Granny or Two Step. His hands look like a giant spider jumping around, especially of Granny.

I totally agree that it looks awesome on SMTS and Granny.
I was watching him play those songs on the Central Park DVD and his hands just look so cool while he plays.

One of the sickest videos I've ever seen (if not the sickest) is Dave playing The Stone on KFOG. It was from 1999 I believe. Pretty nasty!!!! I watch it in complete awe.

seriously...

the stone on the benoroya video is awe-ful as well. the two step on the 12-28-93 video is ridiculous as well. but the So Much to Say on any video makes my jaw drop.

i love SMTS. its stinkin amazing when he plays it.

by the way, my friend from my guitar class (who i mentioned in another thread whos stinkin incredible) could not stop talkin about how talented dave is. he can play all that he can play and still give credit where credits due. gotta love it.

I can play guitar pretty good for it only being like 1.5 years I think. I can play most of Daves songs pretty well and enough to impress a lot of my (non guitar playing) friends and I think Ive made up some pretty damn good songs. But, have any of you ever seen people up close, or videos of Dave when you just watch their hands and they move so sharply and perfectly, its like theyre just machines. Granted these people have been playing for years and years but they just seem like every move isnt sketchy or anything, its all so precise. I cant wait till Ive been playing for long enough when I feel like Im at that level, utnil then Im still pretty happy with my progress, just gotta keep progressing.
