My Carl Thompson Thread.

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

It's sounds great, and it gets better everytime I play it. I think there's a Kent Armstrong Musicman pickup under the cover, which seems to be giving it a very woody tone right now. The controls are bass boost, volume, and a very subtle treble control. I may switch it out with an EMG setup somewhere down the line. I feel like that would give it some more bite. I've also got my usual light guage Dean Markley Blue Nickelsteels on there, but I may move up to the stainless Blue Steels to give it some more balls.

It feels amazing. It's like butter. The truss rod is so easy to work with and adjust, and you can feel the effect on the neck of even the slightest turn. It really feels like a living piece of art, rather than a machine/mass produced piece of hardware. That's the best way I can think of to describe it.
