Everybody always asks me how she's doing. Has she really lost her mind? I said "I couldn't tell you, I've lost mine."

A site I don't know a book I do. It is called the guitar grimoire. These are actually a series. If you get the one for scales though, man it has every scale you can possibly imagine and quite a few yah probably can't. Ever heard of the japanese kumoi scale? loljsgksu wrote:Does anyone know of a site that has all/a lot of scales tabbed out. I tried the site offered earlier in this post but it doesnt have a comprehensive list.
anyway the book is written by adam kadmon and it costs about 20 bucks

what you guys are talking about is called a plateau
they happen in a lot of activities
one where it happened to me is working out
you get bigger and bigger, lifting more and more weights and then all of a sudden you start not getting any bigger
the trick with working out and also with guitar is to switch it up
while doing a bench press, instead of seeing how much weight you can push up, have a spotter help lift heavy heavy weights up for you, and see how much you can let down.....
just a little analogy for ya
same goes with music
ive hit several plateaus playing guitar
the best thing to do to start progressing again is to try a new style
in my plateaus ive tried such new styles as blues, funk and yes, even metal. i hate metal but i got a lot better by learning how to play it. try switching up styles and getting better at everything instead of focusing on one thing, and youll get a lot better as a whole
hope that helps...
