The Lost Acoustics - B&P For Unlimited

Post by Sheesh »

I recently obtained these through eMule, and would be willing to B&P it for those with slower connections, or those that don't want to wait for it download with the somewhat slow eMule network.

The Lost Acoustics takes up 3 CDs. The source is VBR MP3; the average encoding rate seems to be around 550 kbps. I will be doing this B&P in chunks of 5 due to the 3 CDs the show takes up, I don't want people to wait too long to get it back due to me being overwhelmed with blanks.

The first 5 to post their first name and e-mail address will be included in the first set of B&Ps. I will then temporarily close requests, then re-open them for another 5 until everyone is happy.

Your ear can't, but spectrum analysis (as well as some very weird people's ears) can. (Actually, I guess I'm a weird person, I can definitely tell the difference at 128 - 192 is better, but I can still hear differences.)

If you mean take all your 128 kbps then encode those at 192, it wont make a difference because the sound has already been degraded. If you mean re-rip off CD, go for it! :D

As for the "underground" music piracy scene, 192 kbps is the standard.

yeah, i meant re-rip off the CDs, but I have over 15GB of music (a lot of live shows, included and accounting for alot of space since those are at 256) and it would just be a pain to go through all 100+ CD's I own and try to encode them all.... maybe just my dave albums :D
