Seriously I am really cheesed off about what has happened.
I waltzed into HMV the other week and searched around for Dave Matthews Band CD's as well as the latest Dave & Tim DVD which I know is out. To my disgust, there is nothing there, no DMB CD's or DVD's on the shelves. So I go and ask one of the people why it is that they are not stocking DMB material and why they don't have the DVD on the shelf. Apparently there is some crap about the new DVD being released exclusively at Walmart, so I guess HMV are a bunch of pansies and decided to pull all DMB material for the time being. I would imagine this is the record labels doing though and not the band directly, because the latest album by The Eagles is also sold exclusively at Walmart. They do have the D&T DVD at HMV for 32.99 CAD but I think that is rediculously overpriced for a 2 disc set, seems we Canadians are still getting charged up the ass for stuff even though our dollar is worth more then America's
DMB shows attended: 4/12/05 - Molson Amphitheater, 9/12/06 @ Air Canada Centre.
Upcoming: DMB June 9th 2009 @ Molson Amphitheater

My point was that they have it but won't stock it because of the exclusive release issue. Why should I pay extra money for the DVD though? Amazon has it for 27.99 yet it bugs me that retailers are not selling it besides Walmart.
