So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Has anyone ever noticed that dave bars his "A Form" chords with his pinky? (i.e., Old Dirt Hill-bridge). I guess it's more proof that he took a few guitar lessons and made his own music.

I don't know if there is a consensus on what is the proper way to form those chords. I use my ring finger cause my pinky is just not strong enough to depress those strings.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

I just think its pretty strange that's all. But than again some of the best musicians of our time rarely took guitar lessons--Hendrix for example.
