What is a firedancer? Where did it come from? What does it mean?

I'm not exactly sure, but whever i see that i'm reminded of Dancing Nancies... I think theres a line in there about some girl dancing by the fire. But don't listen to me, i dunno what im talking about.

apparently... dave sketched stuff quick when he gave autographs... and he once sketched the firedancer and liked it and use it now... i read that on a messege board myself so can someone either confirm or deny that...

Dave's a very good artist, and I believe the firedancer was one of his earlier drawings.

yeah...a couple of the official t-shirts have some sketches that dave has done. i'd like to see more...probably better than that dmb artwork stuff in General DMB discussion.
