Agreed. Dave and Tim it's bland without DDTW. However, Bartender is phenomenal full band and doesn't require the seque.
I'll never understand why everyone loves bartender full band.
Nowadays, not so much, but the older Bartenders, circa 2000 were great. It clocked in at about 10 minutes, great buildup, a nice resolution to the Roi pennywhistle solo, with no nonsense.
I agree. That Butch solo nowadays sucks, it doesn't fit and it extends the song to 15-16 minutes which is too long.

From Stefan's myspace...

September 14, 2007 - Friday

Question us NOW!

What would be the one question you would want to ask the band? Submit your question here and it might be asked in the 4th episode of the DMB Behind the Scenes Myspace.com video. If you want to add your name and where you?re from we would love to include it with the question. Only a few questions will be asked so make yours good!

One question per person please.

Your's Truly,
Stefan

please someone make a non-threatening jab at why their music has gone down hill lately.

somebody asked "Do you guys miss Steve Lillywhite?"

Some of the questions really suck, but some actually aren't that bad. I'm surprised.

To me it's decent lyrics (and that's me being gracious) and a decent idea for a song, then 6-8 minutes of the same two chords and dave yelling with reverb so you can't really tell that he can't really reach some of those notes.

Bartender from the LWS is the best thing the band ever did, imo.
