I dunno i was perplexed when dave mouthed "thank you" to him. The crowd did give some "woo!"'s during his one note solo, so maybe it was being honest for getting the crowd excited...? I don't remember what they were like earlier in that song though...

The look on Dave's face was mischevious or something... and then he smiled weirdly after saying it, so I dunno that makes me think he was pissed and was being sarcastic.

I thought you guys were exagerating it, because I know sometimes you stay on a note for like 6 measures or something then cut out of it. but that was seriously just too long.

Thats the one. He has had enough amazing solos that Im not really that pissed that he blew this one. But i have a few soundboard recording of LIOG where he tears it apart, so Ill just listen to them.

my verdict: dave wasn't "pissed", but he was definitely sick of hearing one note in his ear for 80 seconds, hence the mouthed "thank you" in the middle of the song after tim moves on. but after the song, he's pretty clearly not mad at tim for the solo, and they were both amazed that the crowd went crazy for a one note solo
