how do you know how many times to strum it when reading guitar tabs? i am pretty new to this please help

but how do you know like what chord to strum twice at and stuff, i want to know this only for crash into me so if you could help me out with that song it would be great

Hey adamondo , like FJ said , you gotta use your ears a little bit , JKanter doesn't tab how many times you strum each chord , or whether or not its up and down strokes , you just gotta sit down and listen to it to feel the rhythm , besides that leaves some space for a little creativity to improvise

you probably need to download the Divx Codec

If youcan, download an acoustic version of the song, either from Luther College or Storytellers, because the strumming is always easier to hear on those versions.
