Rolling down the road
Current mood: calm

Here I am, traveling down the road on my way to Indianapolis on the bus. It is 2:00AM and I just had the day off in Charlottesville. It was about 100 degrees outside but I was at Haunted Hollow all day so I stayed cool. I was working on some music that I've had in my head for a while. As I found myself in the guitar booth putting down a guitar track I noticed that it got real dark outside. No sooner had the sky changed color the heavens opened up and gave the studio a good summer storm. Inspiration flooded me as I went back to work.

Anyways, just stopping by to say hi. Thanks again for all the comments and messages. If I had the time, I would write back, but just know that I love you all and enjoy reading everything I get. Our fans really are the best fans out there.

sorry, ha. just saw the bulletin though.

I don't care about the tightness of the intro. it just doesn't seem as funkey though, didn't dave use to strum mutes during what is now the solo drum fill?

EDIT- what tempo is this SUAD at?

I think that is an early studio cut of SUAD. It's way too clean and out of the four versions I had from this tour it never started with that snare tap.

It's not a live version. I think it's a new studio cut.

Dave's voice sounds like it does now, not like it did 7 years ago.
