the guitar? It's an Epiphone I think. It's definitely a resonator though (think Dobro - has a steel cone in the body, often used in blues and country)

yeah it did, the low E sounded awful, like it was loose and he was looking at monk off stage and saying "what the fuck" it was kind of comical.
