Warehouse, Live at Folsom Field

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Warehouse, Live at Folsom Field

The fans chanting during stop time intro is the most annoying thing I've ever heard. Did dave ask them to do this for the CD, or was it the fans? wow that's annoying.

I don't have the DVD with me right now to say for sure...but I believe the light shine the crowd during the stops, so it implies crowd response. Also, the Central Park video it's encouraged with motions for carter and stefan. I don't know why your are so annoyed by it though? I'd be kick ass to be apart of that, being recorded for a cd and all.

They do it every show. If you search on Nancies you might be able to find something on the history of it. I'm pretty sure it is nancies that has it.

Drives me nuts as well...so much to point where it ruins the song for me on occasion... I get ticked when Stefan encourages it (CP) but to each their own...

People say it started at one of the Red Rocks concerts a few years ago. Who knows...

If you don't want to hear it...listen to the cd version :)

I mean...that's like saying damnit...I hate when the crowd responds to a song and cheers

I've never been a big fan of the 'woos', but it's obvious from CP the band digs 'em, so who am I to complain?

this was the CD version, you can hear it faintly at first, and then louder. Dont get me wrong, I love the fact that the fans get into the show, like when they sing along with ants in the encore, or the clapping in two step, but for some reason the sissy "wooo" doesnt go well with the raw power that is supposed to be the stop time intro/verse of warehouse, at least not in my head. but that's ok cause there's always the LS version. but hey, it aint my song, so de gustibo non est disputandum

Really gets me fired up at the shows, but at FF it was like only two people knew to "Hey" and it took them a couple attempts to get it right.
