I play guitar all the time too, does that mean I'll get Carpel tunnel, damn. Atleast I can blame it on playing the guitar and not, well ya know.....

i've heard that some of dave's wrist problems are because of the way he strums, anyone else notice on videos of him it looks like his right wrist is about to fall off, i think i started copying that without knowing, and a guy i used to play with told me i'd end up hurting my wrist and playing with too much of a bright sound - whatever, i probably still play that way

Well, I don't know what he plays now, but according to the Driven that was on VH1, he had a bad case of Beatlemania in his youth. He spent all of his free time playing the Beatles and Cat Stevens on guitar.
