John Mayer, as great as he is a guitarist, really gets to me. I've heard that he hates Dave Matthews, but I just heard that he did a cover of Lover Lay Down. That sorta seems like he feels like he can make fun of Dave Matthews, but then go and play one of his songs. I am kinda interested though in that recording. If anyone has it, or knows where I can get it, I'd really appreciate it.

John hates Dave because he knows Dave is better

mayer is the better player of coruse, but i think dave is the better muscian... dave just writes great music and is the much more charismatic musical personality, i could listen to dave tells stories for hours

I wasn't trying to start a competition here, John Mayer can obviously rip it up on a solo but besides that it's just different styles of music. Anyways I was just trying to point out that it's kinda wrong for John to say he hates Dave, and then play his one of his songs. Anyways, yeah, Dave is a lot more charismatic and a thousand times nicer than John. John just loves attention, that's why he writes for magazines and does standup.

it's pretty cool. It's all instrumental, it kinda reminds me of Jeff Buckley in a way. Dunno the date
